Druva Bolsters Executive Team with Talent and Culture Lead

As CHRO, Cafiero to bring extensive industry savvy and firsthand leadership experience

SUNNYVALE, Calif. ‒ September 10, 2019 ‒ Druva, Inc., the leader in Cloud Data Protection and Management, today announced the appointment of Holly Cafiero as chief human resources officer (CHRO). Drawing on more than 20 years of experience leading human resource teams, Cafiero will focus on the development and implementation of talent nurturing initiatives as Druva rapidly expands its workforce to keep up with growing demand.

Prior to joining Druva, Cafiero served as the SVP of People and Culture at Cloud Technology Partners (CTP), a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, where she focused on recruiting top talent to the organization, nurturing and evolving company culture, and fostering employee engagement. Prior to CTP, Cafiero was the SVP of HR at EnerNOC where she transformed the company between industries and led the organization’s workforce through multiple acquisitions. She has held several other leadership roles at companies including Hologic, Vistaprint and Digitas.

“Employees are the number one success factor behind any business, and Druva’s ambitious goals can only be achieved with a cohesive team that remains passionate about our mission to transform data protection,” said Jaspreet Singh, founder and CEO, Druva. “Druva has expanded at a rapid pace over several years, and Holly’s experience scaling and building high performance teams will be instrumental to ensuring we continue to grow our approach, culture and values.”

“The best companies are known not only for exceptional products, technology and executives, but also a unique culture and talented workforce,” said Cafiero. “Aligning company culture and corporate identity is foundational to building an enduring business. I’m very much looking forward to working with the team to showcase the world-class organization Druva has created across the globe.”

Cafiero is the latest to join Druva’s executive team, following Thomas Been’s appointment as CMO last month. Additionally, Druva has recently appointed Bill Losch to its board of directors, completed the acquisition of CloudLanes, and secured $130 million, pushing total capital raised to $328 million. Additionally, the company has recently opened new offices in Sunnyvale, Calif., and Singapore.
