New Druva Global Headquarters Marks Major Milestone and Exceptional Growth

Company prepares to disrupt $55 billion data management industry with a rapidly growing customer base and expanded international presence

SUNNYVALE, California ‒ June 11, 2019 ‒ Druva, Inc., the leader in cloud data protection and management, today announced the opening of a new global headquarters in Sunnyvale, Calif. to support its expanding headcount in Silicon Valley and across the globe as demand accelerates for its industry-leading data protection technology. Driven by over 80 percent revenue growth for backup and disaster recovery of enterprise workloads and an expanding international customer base, Druva is preparing for continued customer acquisition, rapid product innovation and headcount acceleration by more than 50 percent year-over-year.

Storing, protecting and managing of secondary data has increasingly become a chief differentiator for companies, and IDC forecasts the costs of managing these massive data sets will exceed $55 billion by 2020. Built on AWS and offered as-a-Service, businesses are now experiencing first-hand the benefits of Druva’s unique technology, free of legacy architecture, software or hardware. Only Druva enables organizations to scale their needs on-demand, backup and recover data across the globe, and automate processes to streamline backup while cutting costs by more than 50 percent. With the opening of the new headquarters, Druva is continuing its commitment to hiring top talent and providing facilities for teams to develop industry-first data protection solutions, deliver greater value to customers and offer a best-in-class user experience.

“No enterprise wants to invest in the cumbersome infrastructure necessary for data backup, let alone deal with all the management that comes with it,” said Jaspreet Singh, founder and CEO, Druva. “Digital transformation and cloud technologies offer a chance to break free of those legacy systems, and Druva is uniquely positioned to support businesses adopting a cloud-first approach. Today marks a major milestone in our own journey as we celebrate the opening of our new global headquarters.”

Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, Druva will occupy 32,000 square feet across two floors, tripling the company’s headquarters facility footprint in the last two years. Over the last eight months, Druva has also expanded its international presence with the opening of a new innovation center in Pune, India, and an Asia-Pacific regional hub in Singapore. In November 2018, Druva was also recognized by Deloitte as one of the fastest growing technology companies for the third consecutive year, and was the only data protection and management vendor recognized.
