It is company policy to conduct pre-employment background and reference checks on all applicants who have been given an offer of employment. Depending upon the position, background checks may include verification of any information on the applicant’s resume or application form. All company background checks will be conducted in compliance with applicable regulations, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the California Fair Credit Reporting Act. All offers of employment will be conditioned upon satisfactory completion of this background check process. Background check information is confidential, and will only be obtained and reviewed by HR. All records related to background checks will be maintained in a secure location separate from employee personnel records.
