An entrepreneur at heart, he bootstrapped the company while defining the product, sales and marketing strategies that have resulted in Druva’s early and impressive success. Prior to founding Druva, Jaspreet was a member of the storage foundation group at Veritas. He also held a number of engineering specific roles at Ensim Corporation. Jaspreet holds a Bachelors in Comp. Sc. (BTech) from IIT Guwahati.
Milind Borate has over 13 years experience in enterprise product development and delivery. Milind worked at Veritas Software as Technical Director for SAN-FS and served on the board of the Veritas patent filter committee. Milind has filed over 15 patent applications (4 allotted) and co-authored “Undocumented Windows NT” in 1998. He holds a BE (CS) degree from University of Poona and MTech (CS) degree from IIT, Bombay.
Prior to joining Druva, Mark was VP of Sales at Baynote, a leading provider of personalized customer experience solutions for multi-channel retailers. Mark built and managed the global direct sales team, growing revenue by 300% and helping the company achieve a market leadership position in their category. Previously, Mark was VP of Sales & Sales Operations at Virsa Systems where he was instrumental in driving worldwide sales growth, resulting in an acquisition by SAP AG. Mark has also held senior sales positons at diCarta & Interwoven, as well as various sales and sales management positions at leading technology companies including NetManage, MSC Technologies, Merisel, and MacAmerica. Mark holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Management and Marketing) from the University of Portland in Portland, Oregon.
Prior to joining Druva, Ty founded Cypher Media, a performance marketing agency that delivered over 10M leads and customers to Fortune 500 brands. Previously, Ty served a 3-year tenure as Director of Marketing at Traffic Marketplace, a leading media & advertising company. There Ty managed the company’s largest business unit and grew topline revenues over 20%. Ty was also a member of the Google AdWords team and headed marketing for a niche e-commerce retailer. Ty holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California, Irvine.
With a strong track record of new business creation for consumers, small businesses, and enterprises, Chandar brings strong product leadership to Druva. His responsibilities include product strategy, product management and product marketing. Previously, Chandar was a product management executive at Intuit, where he spearheaded the launch of several cloud-based offerings for small businesses. Prior to Intuit, Chandar was Vice President of Products at MindTouch and a Senior Director at Yahoo. Chandar holds an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, an MS (Computer Science) from Arizona State University, and a BTech (Electrical Engineering) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Robert has over 20 years of experience driving financial and operational excellence within venture-backed privately held firms as well as global publicly traded organizations. Prior to joining Druva, Robert held executive level positions at Business Objects, Intuit and Intransa. Robert has also held financial leadership roles within the internet and media divisions of Disney and Bertelsmann.
Robert received his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and his BA from the University of Maryland, College Park.
Steve has over 25 years of experience in technology sales and has spent the past 15 years focused on sales and business development. Previously, Steve was the Vice President of Channel Sales, Americas, at F5 Networks. While there, he increased channel sales in the Americas from $50M to $500M; drove strategy and metrics to increase new account penetration and partner generated pipeline; and led the migration from a direct to indirect model, increasing sales through the channel from 50% to over 90%. Steve has also held senior sales and business development positions at Adara Networks, Venture2.com, Photozone.com, and Visio Corporation. Steve has a BA in Business Communications and Advertising from the University of Washington.
Borja Rosales has over 20 years of sales experience in the IT Storage and data protection domain. Graduate from the Basque Country University, he has held senior management positions in different European storage manufacturing and distribution companies like Fibrenetix Group and CYCMA. Before joining Druva he was founder and co-owner of a Remote Backup Services and Data Restoration company in Spain, Restoretek, that managed to achieve 100% restorability of data backed up by the customer.
Behlool has made customer-centric roles such as technical support, pre-sales, and customer success the focus of his career. In the last ten years he has placed critical roles in building teams from the ground up at organizations including Veritas, Symantec, and MPhasis. Behlool has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Pune University with a specialization in Cost & Account, and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Finance. He is also a certified ITIL practitioner.
