Strong Customer Satisfaction Drives Druva to Top of Gartner Report

Mike Wong

Just weeks after Druva received a certified Net Promoter Score (NPS) score of 86 and was awarded the Northface ScoreBoard award for outstanding customer service, Druva’s best-in-class customer experience was recently in the spotlight again.

This time, Druva was recognized with the highest overall ranking in the recent Gartner Peer Insights report, ‘Voice of the Customer’: Disaster Recovery as a Service*. The report compares seven vendors currently providing DR capabilities, with Druva receiving the highest overall rating of 4.9 out of 5.0.

Figure 3 (below) summarizes the overall ratings (out of 5 stars) for vendors in the DRaaS market. This can be visualized by the 95% confidence interval that has been added as a bar range to the overall ratings in Figure 3.

DRaaS overall rankings

The cloud always rises

Druva’s overall top ranking was a reflection of our Software as a Service (SaaS) business model and reviewers agreed that we offer the very best choice in the categories of valuation and contracting, integration and deployment, and service and support.

With a backup and restore service that can be deployed in as little as 15 minutes to protect data spread across endpoints, data centers and cloud, Druva offers a level of simplicity unmatched by others in the evaluation. Additionally, with Druva’s SaaS-based approach, customers only pay for the services used, never need to buy hardware of software, and absolutely never need to patch or upgrade Druva to take advantage of the platform’s latest innovations. All of these benefits mean customers are able to reduce administrative friction and overhead often associated with competitive solutions, especially legacy on-premises technologies.

Beyond this we are proud that Druva received a rating of 4.8 out of 5 for Services and Support*, which we believe is a further testament of our commitment to exceptional customer experience showcased earlier last month in our NPS 86. Druva strives to make data protection simple, seamless and easy for our end customers and this was showcased in the top rankings across multiple categories.

Gartner’s rating system

The ratings of the seven vendors in the DRaaS market was based on peer reviews of vendors that have received more than 10 eligible reviews in the one-year period ending on September 30, 2019.

Gartner’s definition of DRaaS is “a productized service offering in which the provider manages server image and production data replication to the cloud, disaster recovery runbook creation, automated server recovery within the cloud, automated server failback from the cloud, and network element and functionality configuration, as needed.”
