This month, we’d like to introduce you to Evelyne Quach.
Evelyne, please share your story with us. What brought you to Druva Inc.?
I think the overall allure of the tech industry was huge for me. I came from another startup previous to Druva, but this company was much newer in its development. With that being said, it became very difficult to continue on, as it lacked a solid work structure. With Druva, the company’s strong and established organizational structure made it a selling point when searching for a new place of work.
So let’s dig a little deeper into your story- what does your day-to-day schedule typically look like?
Basically, my entire day is spent in Marketo alongside my marketing operations team, where we communicate to our leads, prospects, clients, along with managing our database. Aside from this, when I have time, I spend it collaborating with my manager working on long-term projects for the quarter! I have to say, working alongside people who I find professional, hardworking, and caring make my daily tasks more enjoyable.
A little more about Druva- What’s the best part about working here?
Definitely the lunches. I mean, there are a ton of perks that make Druva stand out from the rest, but I have to say, I get quite excited around lunchtime due to the constant variety of food provided! Also, the on-site gym is nice. Being able to blow off some steam and refocus at the end of the day is something I enjoy greatly. On a different note, I think that Druva’s diverse culture is another perk, as it allows everyone to find their personal niche, which I find very cool.
Alright Evelyne, if you had to listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Hard question! But my most played song is “Could You Be Loved” by Bob Marley. I have it on heavy rotation!
We must know, are you a PC or Mac?
Oh, Mac most definitely. I’ve always been a Mac user!
Lastly Evelyne, tell us one thing not many know about you.
Well, I can play the piano. I started when I was fourteen but stopped in college. About a year ago, I picked it back up. When I found out that “The Mountain” from Game of Thrones was going to be at Druva’s VMworld booth, I was inspired to learn the Game of Thrones theme song on the piano! My goal is to definitely learn it before the next season begins.
Well Evelyne, we wish you luck, thanks for chatting with us!
