Druva Introduces New Leaders to Expand Relationships and Supercharge the Partner Ecosystem

True story — a senior industry executive, for whom I have a great deal of respect — once said to me, “lots of people SAY they are channel… not many of them DO channel.” These words live rent-free in my head because of their importance. A great channel program isn’t a destination, but a journey. A great channel program is about WORK — Every. Single. Day. 

A bias for action is necessary to ensure that partners are informed and enabled. That program incentives — and guard rails — are inspected, adjusted, and supported. A great channel program requires commitment, passion, and being there “firstest with the mostest.”

Druva has some of the most talented, committed, and driven channel leaders in the industry. Professional, engaged, talented, supportive, and relentless in their support of their partners. I am so pleased to share that this great channel program and the team have reached new levels of execution and scale with the addition of two outstanding channel leaders.

Introducing Chris Carvacho and Tim Kirchheimer

We’re pleased to announce Chris Carvacho has joined the team as Druva’s North American RVP for Channel, and Tim Kirchheimer as Druva’s Sr. Director of CDW Partnership. Their addition to the team will take our great program to new levels of innovation and enhance collaboration with our fantastic partner ecosystem.

Chris joins the team with more than 15 years of sales leadership experience, and most recently was VP of OEM and Channel at Virtana, an AI-powered multi-cloud management platform, where he played a pivotal role leading sales channels including CSPs, resellers, distributors, and MSPs. His keen insights into industry challenges and opportunities will be an enormous asset as we look to expand partner relationships. Chris is based in the Bay Area and a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley. When he’s not leading partner campaigns, Chris enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, jet skiing, snow skiing, tennis, and traveling. 

Most recently National Partner Director for CDW at Rubrik, Tim joins the team with more than 20 years of experience. Tim spent over 15 years at CDW before joining Rubrik, where he was responsible for leading the overall strategy, engagement, and growth of the company’s business with CDW — he looks to utilize key insights gained to boost Druva’s efforts with this valuable partner. Based in the Chicago area, Tim graduated from Eastern Illinois University and in his free time enjoys golf, skiing, boating, smoking meats, taking the dog to the dog park, and watching his kids play football, baseball, and soccer.

What do these new additions bring to Druva’s partner ecosystem? Focus, intent, and ambition. 

The addition of new leadership to the team will bolster focus on our partners and THEIR success in the market with Druva, as well as the intent to ensure Druva’s partners have access to every resource necessary for their success at scale, and finally, the ambition to ensure partners achieve best-in-class sales with Druva — with best-in-class margins, channels, and co-selling support. These talented leaders know Channel. They know routes to market. They are versatile in helping our partners meet their customers where they are and how they buy. They are experienced in making the complex simple for our partners.
