Druva today announced that it is deepening its relationship with Amazon Web Services (AWS), announcing the achievement of the AWS Government Competency. Druva adds this accomplishment to its list of other similar achievements such as AWS Storage Competency Partner, AWS Public Sector Partner Program and AWS GovCloud Skill designation. The company’s collaboration with AWS further demonstrates Druva’s ability to provide customers across geographies and industries with powerful data protection and management solutions in the cloud for rapid digital transformation.
The goal of the AWS Competency Program is to recognize APN Partners who demonstrate technical proficiency and proven customer success in specialized solution areas. APN Partners undergo a validation of their capabilities upon applying for the specific Competency, and every 12 months thereafter. AWS leverages in-house expertise to facilitate the review.
In order to obtain the AWS Government Competency, Druva was deemed as company who provide solutions to—and has deep experience working with— government customers to deliver mission-critical workloads and applications on AWS. Druva’s data protection and management solutions are highly targeted to Government specific challenges where solutions must be specifically tailored for compliance, security, and governance regulations.
As adoption of AWS GovCloud (US) continues to grow, customers increasingly need the ability to easily identify AWS Partners with expertise and skills in the AWS GovCloud (US) region. The AWS GovCloud (US) Skill Program provides customers with the ability to readily identify APN Partners with experience supporting workloads in the AWS GovCloud (US) Region. Druva has been validated as an AWS Partner with experience in architecting, operating and managing workloads in GovCloud, and APN Technology Partners.
In addressing the security landscape and concerns around the cloud environment, Druva has an extensive collection of security accreditations, making it a highly trusted platform for data protection and management. Druva is accredited for HIPAA, SOC 1 and SOC 2, FIPS 140-2 and more. In addition, Druva obtained a FedRAMP Moderate Authority to Operate (ATO), a US government-wide program that verifies an established and highly secure environment that has withstood comprehensive audit review, and delivers significant time and cost savings.
