Co-Founder and CEO
Jaspreet is a co-founder and CEO of Druva. An entrepreneur at heart, he bootstrapped the company while defining the product, sales and marketing strategies that have resulted in Druva’s early and impressive success. Prior to founding Druva, Jaspreet was a member of the storage foundation group at Veritas. He also held a number of engineering specific roles at Ensim Corporation. Jaspreet holds a Bachelors in Comp. Sc. (BTech) from IIT Guwahati.
Co-Founder and CTO
Milind Borate has over 13 years experience in enterprise product development and delivery. Milind worked at Veritas Software as Technical Director for SAN-FS and served on board of Veritas patent filter committee. Milind has filed over 15 patent applications (4 allotted) and co-authored “Undocumented Windows NT” in 1998. He holds a BE (CS) degree from University of Poona and MTech (CS) degree from IIT, Bombay.
Chief Revenue Officer
Pete has over 15 years of experience in sales leadership, strategy, and team building. Prior to joining Druva, Pete was the worldwide Vice President of Sales at SeaMicro (acquired by AMD), where he built and led the sales organization. He also served as the worldwide Vice President of Sales at BlueArc Corporation (acquired by Hitachi Data Systems), where he grew the U.S. field organization and moved the company into Federal and international markets.
Chief Financial Officer
Mahesh has over 14 years of experience in financial leadership and infrastructure development at high growth companies. He joins Druva from RingCentral where he was the VP Corporate Controller and Treasurer and was instrumental in the company’s 2013 IPO. Prior to this Mahesh was the VP Corporate Controller at Intematix and served in various leadership roles at Atheros Communications, building the company’s financial infrastructure and supporting revenue growth from $100M to $1.2B through its acquisition by Qualcomm.
VP, Corporate and Product Marketing
Dave has more than 20 years of experience influencing products in the enterprise technology space, primarily focused on information management and governance. At Druva, Dave heads Corporate and Product Marketing, which serves an integral role leading product definition and direction. Previously, Dave held executive positions at Autonomy Corp., Interwoven Inc., and Silicon Graphics. He was also instrumental in the product and market definition of the first widely deployed mobile device, Tablet PC, while at Uppercase, Inc., (acquired by Microsoft in 2000).
Abhay comes to Druva having spent close to 22 years in the software industry. Before joining Druva, he has led innovative teams in Motorola and in BMC Software covering a wide range of technology areas from satellite telecommunications to cellular telephony to data-center automation. In particular, he has led teams that were responsible for creating new technology and new products. He has experience in intellectual property creation and has served on the patent review committees of the previous companies.
VP for Customer Success and Operations
Sunil joins Druva with over 20 years of experience in customer service and support. He has a proven track record of building high-performing customer support organizations and developing the infrastructure, systems, and processes required to provide world-class support to global companies. He previously was at Palo Alto Networks, where he defined and implemented the global strategy for customer support. He also served as a technical support manager at Juniper Networks and held technical positions at Vinciti Networks, SAP India, and Global Telecom Services. He co-authored “ScreenOS Cookbook” in 2008.
Regional VP, EMEA
Rick joins Druva with over 20 years of experience in sales leadership. He has a proven background of delivering significant revenue and margin growth within global software and infrastructure businesses across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Prior to joining Druva he was Managing Director UK&I at Acronis and before that held senior sales and management roles at Oracle, VERITAS/Symantec and Commvault. Rick has an enviable track record of restructuring businesses and redefining strategies to facilitate access to and growth into existing and new markets.
Regional VP, APAC
Pete joins Druva with 20 years of experience in leadership roles across sales, channel development, and product strategy at both startups and Fortune 500 companies. He has led the business expansion into APAC for several innovative technology companies, and most recently was at SeaMicro (acquired by AMD) where he managed the company’s largest customers and expansion into APAC. Prior to this he was a business development executive for Cisco’s worldwide Service Provider Cloud practice.
Sr. Director of Customer Success
Teresa has over 10 years experience in sales and business strategy, project management, and cross-team collaboration. Prior to joining Druva, Teresa ran Worldwide Sales Operations at Fusion-io (acquired by SanDisk), building the sales process and infrastructure from pre-IPO through to $300M+ in revenue. Before Fusion-io, she was the Business Operations Manager at MySQL (acquired by Sun and Oracle), guiding the company and, subsequently, the business unit through two acquisitions. She is a master of bringing order to chaos, and aligning internal teams to achieve maximum business results. She graduated from University of California, Santa Cruz with a B.A. in Community Studies.
