Founder and CEO, Jaspreet Singh, brings a combination of product vision and general manager experience that has allowed Druva to be one of the fastest-growing companies in the $28B data protection and management market. His entrepreneurial spirit enabled him to bootstrap Druva, which has now raised some $200M in venture funding and over 4000 customers worldwide. His market and technology insights have led him to create the first and only cloud native, Data Management-as-a-Service (DMaaS) company, delivering innovative technology solutions and distinctive consumption models that are disrupting the classic data protection market. Prior to starting Druva, Jaspreet held foundational roles at Veritas and Ensim Corp. Additionally, he holds multiple patents and has a B.S. in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.

Mike Gustafson is as an Independent Board Director. In his more than 25 years of experience, he has successfully led multiple technology companies and teams including public and private companies across infrastructure and software offerings, as well as high growth businesses from pre-revenue to multi-billion dollar revenues. Mike was previously CEO and Chairman of Virident Systems that was acquired by Western Digital Corporation. He also served as CEO and Board Member of BlueArc Corporation which became a top 3 enterprise network attached storage company and was acquired by Hitachi Data Systems where he later served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the File and Content Business. Earlier in his career, Mike held senior roles in sales, services, marketing and product at McDATA Corporation (MCDT) which became public (IPO) in 2000 and at IBM Corporation.

He also serves on the boards of Reltio, Everspin (MRAM), Matterport, and ClearDB. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis – John M. Olin School of Business.

Milind has more than 20 years’ experience in enterprise product development and delivery. Prior to co-founding Druva, he worked at Veritas Software as Technical Director for SAN-FS and served on the board of the Veritas patent committee. Milind holds several patents in storage technology and co-authored the book “Undocumented Windows NT” in 1998. His current areas of interest are cloud storage and machine learning for unstructured data. Milind is passionate about building engineering teams that deliver end-to-end solutions and among his favorite pass-times is philosophizing on software development.

Mahesh has over 14 years of experience in financial leadership and infrastructure development at high growth companies. He joins Druva from RingCentral where he was the VP Corporate Controller and Treasurer and was instrumental in the company’s 2013 IPO. Prior to this Mahesh was the VP Corporate Controller at Intematix and served in various leadership roles at Atheros Communications, building the company’s financial infrastructure and supporting revenue growth from $100M to $1.2B through its acquisition by Qualcomm.

Before joining Druva, Thorsten founded and served as CEO at Valesco Ventures, where he established international sales subsidiaries, accelerated top-line growth, and improved profitability for some of the most innovative technology companies in IT infrastructure and security. Prior to Valesco Ventures, he held a variety of worldwide executive roles at Infoblox, F5 Networks, and Cisco.

A Silicon Valley enterprise tech marketing veteran, Lowe joined Druva after spending six years at Splunk as Vice President of Corporate Marketing where her leadership was key in helping elevate the Splunk brand and its champions’ voices across the globe. While there, Lowe built and led a 60+ person team that helped drive revenue from $70M pre-IPO to over $1.2B in FY18. Prior to Splunk, Lowe was Vice President of Marketing at MarkLogic. She has also held senior marketing leadership positions at Actian, Savvion and Business Objects (acquired by SAP). Sherry is also an award-winning former print and television broadcaster and was one of the first-ever female sportscasters. She has a Masters of English from Indiana State University and a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University.

Prior, he was the VP of HR at Ayasdi, where he led the company through a transformational value-creation period of tripling headcount and a rare recognition of Fortune’s Most Innovative Companies two years in a row. Before Ayasdi, he served as the VP of HR at Guavus (acquired by Thales) and Tagged (acquired by MeetMe) where he led those companies through international hyper-growth, IPO readiness, M&A execution, and best company recognitions resulting in their subsequent acquisitions.

In particular, he has led teams that were responsible for creating new technology and new products. He has experience in intellectual property creation and has served on the patent review committees of the previous companies.

His passion for protecting everyone’s data includes founding backupcentral.com, writing the O’Reilly books Backup & Recovery and Using SANs & NAS, conducting several hundred backup seminars around the world, as well as speaking at hundreds of webinars and trade shows.

Eugenia’s background in high tech law and data privacy gives her unique insight into the issues faced by the cloud data management and security sector. Darron comes to Druva most recently from Tenable Network Security where he was the Vice President of Federal Sales and Field Operations. There he was responsible for record sales growth and scaling out the federal division. Prior to Tenable, Darron worked for Splunk where he was a Sr. Business Development Program Executive for Civilian, DoD, & Intel. He was responsible for getting Splunk included in major federal programs of record which ultimately helped drive the public sector to record sales revenue. Darron also worked for Booz Allen Hamilton for almost 5 years where he lead business development efforts and managed a team of on-site consultants at the Department of Homeland Security, Science & Technology Directorate, Explosives Division, as well as several other government agencies. Over the last 20 years, Darron has spent time either directly in government or supporting civilian, DoD, intelligence and law enforcement markets/agencies. Additionally, Darron served as an intelligence officer for 6 years in the U.S. Navy Reserves and over a decade in law enforcement as a SWAT/Special Operations Officer, Major Crimes Detective/Investigator, and supervisor.

Jeff Parks is a founding General Partner and Executive Committee member of Riverwood Capital. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banker at UBS Investment Bank in Los Angeles. Jeff has extensive experience investing in and scaling global technology companies. Dr. Minoru “Mick” Etoh has several professional and academic roles. He is a Senior Vice President and the General Manager of the Innovation Management Department of NTT DOCOMO. He is also President and CEO of Mirai Translate, Inc. (Tokyo, Japan). He commutes to DOCOMO Innovations, Inc. (Palo Alto, CA) from Tokyo frequently. His fields of expertise include mobile network architecture and protocols, big data mining, cloud solutions for data storage and synchronization, pattern recognition, natural language interfaces, computer vision, distributed software, multimedia signal processing, audio/video/speech coding technologies, media delivery over mobile networks, and standardization activities.

He joined NTT DOCOMO in 2000, where he contributed to launching DOCOMO’s 3G mobile multimedia services, including video phones and applications with audio-visual content. He is recognized as one of the major contributors to the H.264 standardization activity, which received an Engineering Emmy Award in 2008. He was President and CEO of NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Inc. (Tokyo, Japan) from 2014 to 2016, and President and CEO of DOCOMO Capital, Inc. (Palo Alto, California) from 2012 to 2015. He received B.E. and M.S.E.E. degrees from Hiroshima University, as well as a Ph.D. degree from Osaka University, in 1983, 1985 and 1993 respectively.
