Escalation Engineer (Job Code: EE2017)


  • Graduates in engineering stream with 3-7 years’ experience. (Computer Science preferred)
  • Strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms
  • Excellent programming and debugging skills in at least one of the following languages: C, C++, Java or python (C/Python preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with storage & backup technologies will be an advantage
  • Experience in enterprise software, deep knowledge on software development including threading, network and disk IO, data transformations, data integrity, systems management, systems administration and monitoring

 Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Primarily focused for handling escalations end to end
  • Participate in customer escalation calls along with other stake holders
  • Should prepare scripts for debugging & workaround to fix customers issues
  • Formulate technical action plans for analyzing and resolving problems for Druva products
  • Analyze product logs, screenshots and other details provided by technical support team and where-ever required, participate in sessions with customers to gather more details about the issues
  • Spend time going through the product code where necessary & try simulating problems in-house
  • Lead technical training's for support and services team to enhance technical knowledge for faster resolutions
  • Build Automation scripts to test Cloud Updates on staging setups for Pre stage productions upgrades
  • Help internal teams deliver custom projects which involves design, planning, coding & QA as a paid service to the customer for Professional services team
  • Drive discussions with Product & Engineering team for product improvements, bugs & new features
