Druva Acquired Key Customers - NASA, Capita, Emerson, Serco

Druva recently added key customers including Capita, Emerson, NASA and Serco, to its list of key enterprise accounts.

"NASA is a relatively small Federal deployment, but we are happy to add this brand name to our list of valuable customers. Just the fact that they tested and loved the product against the existing ones, make me feel very proud," writes Jaspreet Singh, co-founder Druva, on the corporate blog.

Capita Group PLC, deployed inSync for its enterprise laptop backup needs. Capita has a strong 30,000 distributed workforce, and was planing to backup the laptops centrally to its data-center. Capita chose Druva inSync replacing Veritas Netbackup for its strong data deduplication and WAN Optimization features.

Emerson and Serco have deployed the inSync solution for mobile and distributed workforce across various offices. Another critical win is Zee-Turner, which deployed Druva inSync against a competing data deduplication product because of its simplicity. "The support engineer installed and backed up the entire IT-staff within 1 hour, which was shocking for them (the IT Team), as they had spent over a week learning and setting up the heavy weight (competing product)... InSync was simple, elegant and fast. We closed the deal within 14 days," says Jaspreet Singh.

What's Next

Druva recently announced beta for its new network backup product for remote and local servers - Phoenix. "Remote data backup is a widely spread but very underserved problem. With our unique data deduplication approach and WAN Optimization, we believe Phoenix would be a killer proposition," says Milind Borate, CTO, Druva.

Phoenix has already received an unprecedented response for beta program and the company had to close the beta program for more users. "The beta program may again open sometime soon," adds Milind.
