Users have the freedom to access their data from anywhere and anytime using their client application, a Web browser, or from their mobile devices such as iPhone & iPad. Combined with a powerful search and availability of multiple restore points to restore data, inSync provides users powerful data access, restore, and sharing capabilities.

Quick Search Based Restore

Druva inSync does not maintain incremental and differential backups. Instead it uses a concept called “restore points”, which are point-in-time snapshots of all backed up data. Each restore point represents a full backup and can be browsed and searched like regular folders.

The file search shows all the matching files in real-time and how they have evolved over time. The user can choose to restore any version of the file from the search results.

Web Based Restores

A user can access all backed up data from anywhere using just a Web browser. The connection to the browser is a secure 256 HTTPS connection and requires the user to login with restore credentials.

Smartphone/Tablet Access

Users can access their data from anywhere with our inSync iPhone/ iPad/ Android app. They can keep an offline copy or share files by email to colleagues.

Admin Assisted Restores

In addition to the above options, an administrator can assist users by searching for files on the user’s behalf and then remotely restoring the data on the user’s machine.

Bare Metal Restores

Druva inSync can backup the entire PC including operating system, applications, data and settings. In case of disaster, the administrator can reconstruct entire PC from scratch.
