Phoenix Installation Prerequisites

The following are the minimal requirements for installing Druva Phoenix:

Druva Phoenix Server

Hardware

  • Disk Space: Installation – 80 MB
  • CPU: At least 1.7 GHz dual core machines
  • Physical Memory: At least 2 GB
  • Network Card: 10/100 MBps Fast Ethernet adapters
  • Storage: NTFS partition on local storage or SAN/NAS
  • Phoenix requires that a minimum of 8GB of free disk space be available.
  • In case SSD storage is configured, then the requirement is: 3GB for database and 1GB for SSD.
  • The database log path should have free space of 4GB.
  • Hypercache config: 1GB + 4GB for every 1TB of data (recommended)

Operating System

  • Microsoft Windows 2003 Server OR Windows 2008 Server
  • Phoenix server supports only 64 bit OS.
  • Linux: 64 bit Ubuntu 8+ and Cen Os 5.5.

Druva Phoenix Backup Agent

Hardware

  • Disk Space: Installation: 80 MB
  • CPU: At least 1.7 GHz dual core machines
  • Physical Memory: Mssql installed client -2GB / Normal client 1 GB
  • Network Card: 10/100 MBps Fast Ethernet adapters

Software

  • Microsoft Windows 2003 Server OR Windows 2008 Server both 32/64 bit
