Druva Lends a Helping Hand at the Second Harvest Food Bank

Earlier this month, Druva partnered with the Second Harvest Food Bank to help provide food to those in need. As a part of Druva Cares, our volunteer initiative, the Druva employees took a trip to the San Jose Cypress Center to sort food at the food bank’s warehouse on July 17th. It was a great chance to get out of the office and to give back to the community.

Working with three other groups, we boxed a total of 11,025 pounds of food! The food we sorted was then distributed to hungry families in the area. Having volunteers sort the food helps lower costs; 95 cents of every dollar donated goes directly to programs providing food to over 243,000 people each month.

Here’s more about what the food bank does:

We were happy to help!
